Personalities

One of my favorite things is family, and friends.. Getting together with my sister, and ALL three of her kids at once is so rare for me and my children, it's like a special holiday, especially for Austin who LOVES and adores his cousins so very much..

Cole . Austin . Joaquin.

All of their personalities are so different, I can almost picture them 10,15 and 20 years from now and see who they are going to be.. Not that I want to get there anytime, I am much contented right here with a handful of toddlers, thank you very much..

Joaquin will be rambunctious, and loud, probablly play football ( have you seen his shoulders, Im thinking wide reciever)

He has no fear, and dives right into anything he sees ( not always a postive when there are bowls of chocolate around, ;) ) including mud, rock piles and probablly when he's older - the ladies.. lol

Cole is an old soul, with his thoughtful expressions, and perfect abilitiy to make friends with everyone.

He will be a class clown type, the funny guy who everyone wants to hang out with, because he can make you laugh with such ease..

Austin is more of an observer at first, he is methotical in all his choices, but give him a minute and he is right there on the front line ready to join in, conquer his fears and make friends.

With his gentle and caring personality he makes sure everyone is happy and most importantly to a mother, he is a real gentleman ;)

Whether my son and nephews decide to play chess, or star in a rock band, this momma/aunt will support and love them with her whole heart.

After all they have a tough job of protecting, and loving these two lovely little ladies

It's not gonna be easy boys!

2 month updates

Addison turned 2 months old last week

And in two months, she has grown so much,
weighing 13 pounds, she has grown four inches

All her blood work has since become stablized, and she is doing great!

She sleeps through the night, and during the day is so much more alert.
She loves to talk to people, and she is all smiles all the time.

Big brother Austin, is doing so good with her, he helps with daily chores, and when visiting Meme's house, he helps Meme feed her.

He loves holding her, and making her laugh

Abby is doing great too, her checkups showef no more heart disease, so it's back to tennisballs and sunshine for this old pup

Keith is back to work, working bucco overtime, but still finds time to play with Austin

We are defineitly lucky to have such a good daddy and hubby

This weekend I went out with some girlfriends celbrating a wedding!
It was a lot of fun, but I did miss my babies at home

Two months have by so fast, and it's so bittersweet, I love my baby girl so much I can hardly believe I am so lucky to have such a good son AND the daughter I always dreamt of having.
It just seems that time is moving a little too fast, if only time could stand still...

vacation

We've spent the past ten days enjoying a family vacation, Keith had an entire week off, and it was so nice to spend time all week, sleeping in, staying up late, going on adventures. We most defintly added to our memory bank, memories full of laughter, and lots of sunshine.

we watched some friends get married -and I love me a wedding

we took a trip to Storyland

we fingerpainted for good ole Uncle Sams birthday

I try to make vacations fun and exciting and different from our everyday routines, because where Im a stay at home mom, we do a lot of crafty things, but on vacation we all stay up late together, have no bedtime, watch movies, make homeade popcorn.. we even all slept in our room for the whole week.

I so love all the things about summer, we went swimming almost everyday, and Keith took Austin out on the boat a lot too, He still wont let him teach him to swim, but he did catch his first large mouth.. talk about a proud daddy

like father, like son
A vacation where all our meals were cooked on the grill.. and strawberry shortcake was involved.. yes please sir!

corn on the cob
There were plenty of naps to go around, daddy works hard, and he derserved it too

daddy's little girl
We went totally retro too, and tyed dyed us some hippy style t-shirts..

the 70's Mosher family
It was a stress FREE week, with so many memories made, just to remind me of how lucky I am to have this family, and these children to love and raise, and one handsome hubby to get groovy with for the rest of forever.. ( okay, that sounded wrong, I was just incorperating the 70's vibe)

back to the grind
